Boutique cost consultancy in Central London are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering major renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the UK.
This role will involve working on a diverse portfolio including a huge hydrogen production facility and a large-scale solar and battery development in the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial and contractual management of post-contract packages (up to £150m)
  • Preparation and management of detailed cost reports
  • Supporting project delivery through effective commercial control
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Reporting directly into senior commercial leadership

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large-scale projects
  • Background in renewables or energy preferred
(utilities, civils, or major infrastructure also considered)
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts is desirable although NEC is a good alternative
  • Demonstrated experience in post-contract commercial management
  • Ability to manage high-value packages and complex reporting structures

This is a fantastic opportunity, offering up to £68,000 working on high-profile, future-focused energy projects while playing a key role in major UK infrastructure developments, supported by a long-term pipeline of secured work across multiple locations. The position offers direct access to senior leadership, with clear line of sight to decision-makers—no being siloed or stuck in the background. You’ll be given real responsibility and autonomy, managing your own projects in a highly client-facing role where your impact is visible. The environment rewards performance, offering genuine opportunities to stand out, with a strong culture of internal promotion.

For further information, please contact Claudine Gilbery-Phillips on 07968 119661, apply directly to this advert, or email your CV (quoting the job reference) to claudine@huntsmanconsult.com.
