Our client is a well-known, highly regarded cost consultancy, providing consultancy services across multiple sectors with an exceptionally strong reputation in the commercial sector. With a solid pipeline of work across the UK and a reputation for delivering world class service, our client is looking for a talented and ambitious M&E Quantity Surveyor to help deliver diverse construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead cost management services for M&E projects
- Conduct regular cost analysis and prepare accurate cost estimates, tender documents, and bills of quantities for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Site visits and valuations.
- Manage variations, claims, and ensure the financial performance aligns with project requirements.
- Act as the primary M&E cost consultant, ensuring timely communication and accurate advice on project budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with experience focused on M&E services.
- Proficient in cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and budgeting specific to M&E.
- Effective communicator with experience managing multiple stakeholders in complex project environments.
- Strong experience in pre contract, specifically cost planning and procurement, and post contract experience
